From ~2005-2011 I produced experimental music under the pseudonym "Alex Mimizuki". Mimizuki was an extremely casual project that I released online for free, but nonetheless devoted most of my free time to in my late teens / early 20s. Since the project largely coincided with my time at university, it was made mostly in Edinburgh (where I performed twice) and in Kyoto (during late 2008 - early 2009). I made around 40 "albums" of Mimizuki music, of wildly veering quality, that mostly emulated whatever genres my attention was on at the time (noise, concrete music, folktronica, experimental pop, Asian classical music). I stopped making Mimizuki stuff around the time that I finished university, leaving an absurdly large catalogue.
Here's some of the best Mimizuki tracks. Some of them have been reworked slightly, using additional samples and material produced at the same time as the originals.
