Mono no aware no aware

Conquering Animal Sound asked me to make a film to accompany their live concerts. I filmed several dozen short scenes with them, focusing on body-horror and unsettling dream-like scenarios.

The "film" itself takes the form of a program that plays movie clips in a random order. This method allows the film to be looped indefinitely without being overly repetitive, and also for new scenes to be inserted (as we intend to do) throughout Conquering Animal Sound's current series of concerts.

"Mono no aware no aware" roughly translates as "the sadness of mono no aware".
